Homebridge TP-Link Tapo
A single Homebridge platform for automatically discovered TP-Link/Kasa accessories and manually configured Tapo plugs and lights using local device control.
Homebridge TP-Link Tapo combines two device stacks in one platform: automatic local discovery for legacy TP-Link/Kasa plugs, switches, bulbs, and light strips, plus local protocol support for Tapo devices configured by IP address.
Supported Tapo families include P100/P105 and P110 plugs, and L510, L520, and L530 lights. Tapo entries use the account credentials and host information required by the device; they are initialized locally rather than relying on a cloud service at runtime.
The platform preserves legacy discovery and configuration behavior while adding Tapo accessories, polling their state into HomeKit, and supporting energy telemetry/custom characteristics on compatible legacy devices.
